Hi,
I intend to buy a Suunto t4c in bundle with the PC POD. I only read, that this PC POD (and also the software) fits to Windows PCs. Is such a software/PC POD also available for Apple?
Thanks in advance for your response!

No.

I have a MacBook and have installed VirtualBox + Windows XP to run
the Suunto Training Manager as well as Firstbeat Athlete. I have a T6c and
a PC pod.

Suunto haven't released software for OS X. Their windoz software is very poor - bad interface, illogical prompts, ugly...

Virtual Box is a virtual machine that for an operating system appears as a computer. This means that you can run multiple operating systems at the same time and on the same hardware. Other alternatives are for example
VMware. Virtual Box is free and can be downloaded from www.sun.com/download.
But you also need Windows XP and that is not free.
Running a virtual OS will mean that you get lower performance and having enough memory is essential (you need memory for both
Windows and MacOS).
That said, I think it work fine for my need. I have a 2.5 years old MacBook
with 4GB memory and an SSD disk. It takes approx 1 minute for me to
start up VirtualBox, boot Windows XP and start up Firstbeat Athlete.
